Item: I lend to my dear & beloved wife - Edeth Sanders - the house with the plantation & all the land that pertains & belonged to me from David Shepard's line to teh creak westward of my house formerly known by the name of McKean's Creek - So. out to the road or over the road as my land may run - as it is whereon I now live - during her natural life or widdow hood - & after my wife's decease - or marriage - Iallso lend to my afors'd wife all my personal property within doars & without that is belonging to the house & plantation wheron I now live during the same time as the first lent mentions. Only I except to my two daughters Mary Sanders & Sary Sanders - tht is boath or either of my two above mentioned daughters should marry before the decease or marriage of my wife then my will & desire is for boath or either of them to have one feather bed & furniture & each of them a little spinning wheel & a horse or mair to each of them if it is to be had but in lue of the beast about 10 pounds in sum other articles or money. I also for each of them to have about ten pounds worth in sum kind of personal property or money to them & their heirs forever.
Item: I now give & bequeath to my three sons Daniel Sanders, David Sanders, & William Sanders all the lands & improvements that I now one lying between David Shepard's line & the creek as before mentioned McKain's Creek to be equally devoided between them three - by my executors - they chusing three more good jeudicious men to assist them in devoiding the same without let or hinderance & my desire is that according to the goodness & worth of my lands & improvements so it may be devoided & that my son David may have the part where my house now stands only I except one hundred acres of the above mentioned land out at the head of western part of the land to be given to one of my other sonss & should my son David die without heir lawfully begotten of his body that then his part of land shall be equally devoided between the other of my two sons above mentioned - Daniel & William - to them their heirs & assignees forever. Now my will & desire further is that at the time my son David comes ____ of his part of the land that then my executors shall aploy to the court for a guardean to be by them appointed to see to the conducting & managing of his property & to keep him from suffering
Item: I give to my son John Sanders & bequeath on him the land & plantation I purchased of Wm. Sanders lying on Hadknots Creek adjoining my brotehr James Sanders & allso one hundred acres of land lying on Gails Creek I purchased of Daniel Rogers to him his heirs & assignees forever.
Item: I give & bequeath to my son James Sanders one hundred acres of land lying on Hadknots creek that I purchased of Ephream Stilley with the improvements thereon allso I give my said son James one hundred acres of land lying at the head of westward part of the land whereon I now live that is excepted in my other gifts of land before mentioned - to Daniel, David, & William - to him his heirs & assignees forever.
Item: I give & bequeath to my son Samuel Sanders the land & plantation I purchased of John Ostean lying on the westward side of Hadknot's Creek & the land & plantation I purchased of Richard Pounder on the same side of said creek to himi his heirs & assignees forever.
Item: I now give
gra set forth & make know my Last Will & desire all tho
I have first lent to my beloved wife - Edeth all my personal estate during
her natural life or widdowhood yet I now desire to alter that so fair as
to have all my negroes hired out that is old a nough to bring wages by
my Executors anuely & the money put to the use of educating my three
children & raising them as is hear mentioned..Samuel Sanders, William
Sanders & Sarah Sanders.
Item: My will
and desire now that at my wife's death or marriage day taht all my
personal estate within doears & without that I have not all ready given
away may be exposed to publick octon by my Executors for Nine months credit
& the whole amount of the sails to be equally devoided betwene all
my children - that is lawfully begotten of my body. I now revoke
& pretert (?) against all other wills hear to fore by me maid either
verbally or in writing acknoldging this to be my last Will & Testament.
I now constitute nomanate & appoint my good & trusty freinds Jazeb
Weaks Jun., Daniel Sanders & Roads Weaks my whole & soul Executors
to this my last Will & Testament - as I sign seal publish pernouns
& declair this to be my last Will & Testament.

When this last Will & Testament of Saml. Sanders decd was proven in
the court by the Oath of William Russell and Isaac Taylor at the same time
