Arndt Family Photographs

The following photographs come from a private collection. Four siblings — children of John Arndt and Anna Gruening — came to the United States from Kaisersfelde, Posen in the late 1800s. Herman Arndt arrived about 1872 and his brother Emil Arndt in 1882. Their older sister Louise Arndt and her husband August Priebe arrived with their children in 1883. In 1895 their sister Emma Minna Arndt Zuehlke brought her children to the United States after the death of her husband.
