Text | I Robert Whitehurst being sick and weak in body but of sound and firm memory do ordain this my last Will and Testement in manner and form following. In the first place I give my soul unto God that gave it to me, and my body to the earth from whence it came, and my body to be decently buried according to the cannons of the Church of England. I do give unto my wife Ellinor Whitehurst, her being on the plantation during her life, eight cows and calves at the field and their increase. Item: I give unto my children all the rest of my cattle and the use of them to my wife until the children come to age. I give unto my two sons one young mare goal and all increase when the sons come of age, and if they should increase that it should be too much trouble looking after them I leave it to the discretion of my wife to sell some of them for the good of my children. Item: I give unto my wife Ellinor those mares and the old horses and the young horses for the use of the plantation. I give unto my son Henry Whitehurst, the Plantation which I now live upon to him and his heirs forever. I give unto my wife Ellinor Whitehurst all my movable goods and all my hogs. I give unto Isaac Barrington's two boys which now lives with me, one hayfer calve and the first cow calve that the hayfer does bring, the youngest boy to have, and all the male calves to foal to my wife Ellinor Whitehurst during her life time.
