Text | In the name of God Amen. I Henry Whitehurst being in perfect memory do make this my last Will and Testement. I do also appoint my wife Mary Whitehurst and my son Robert Whitehurst to be my executors of this my last will and testement. Item: I give unto my well-beloved wife Mary Whitehurst my best feather bed and furniture. Item: I give unto my son Henry Whitehurst half of the land where I formerly dwelt to him and his heirs and not to be sold to any person excepting either of his two younger brothers. I will that my son Henry have the part of the land where the house is and not to turn my two sons Robert and Samuel Whitehurst off till such time as they shall have provided themselves with a house upon the other part of the said land, lying in Eastern Branch, to him and his heirs forever. Item: I give unto my son Samuel Whitehurst, the other part of the said land, not to be sold to any person excepting his two older brothers. I give unt my son Robert Whitehurst ten years priveledge upon my son Samuel's land. I also give unto my son Robert one feather bed and furniture that he has now in his possession, and one large iron pot and one small black trunk. I give unto my daughter Sarah Whitehurst, the best bed and furniture that my son Robert has in his possession. I also give daughter Sarah one small iron pot and one large black trunk. It is my desire that all the rest of my estate and the house where I live and my house in Eastern Branch be inventoryed and sold to pay George Moseley's heirs, and what is left to be equally divided between my wife and children.
